Worm Tubs

Recommended Feeding Environment

Why Our Worm Tubs?

Our mealworms and calciworms provide a highly nutritious protein snack loved by many garden birds, especially Robins. They are a perfect year-round treat and extremely useful in winter and springtime when parent birds use a great deal of energy rearing their young. Calciworms, as their name suggests, are very high in calcium, which contributes to strong bones and eggs. Handy tubs ensure that they stay as fresh as possible and make light weight of storage.

Feeding Tips

Mealworms and Calciworms are a great source of year-round protein. They can be enjoyed from the ground, bird table or feeder. Calciworms are highly versatile and can be added to seed mixes for a handy protein boost. Feed worms on a regular basis and make sure there is plenty of fresh water available.

Hygiene

Help to keep your garden birds healthy by cleaning drinking and bathing areas regularly with a bird hygiene spray to prevent the spread of disease. Make sure fresh, clean water is always available.
